Shivangi of @raodyrecipes made these incredible samosas using ONANA plantain tortillas! SO good! Scroll below for the recipe.
"đŸ„ŸGRAIN FREE TORTILLA SAMOSAS!đŸ„Ÿ Samosas are one of my favs! I missed these so much when I became gluten free / paleo and now I can enjoy them again thanks to @onanafoods plantain tortillas! These tortillas are folded and stuffed with my Garam Masala Sweet Potatoes (recipe on the blog) and Kheema (Indian minced meat; recipe also on the blog)."

Made by @raodyrecipes

  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees.

  2. Make the Garam Masala Sweet potatoes and/or the Kheema. Set aside and let cool to room temperature.

  3. Crack one egg and beat to make egg wash. Set aside.

  4. Melt 3-4 tbsp of coconut oil and set aside.

  5. Heat tortillas on a dry pan on medium heat and cook through so they’re more pliable.

  6. Take heated tortillas and cut them in half using clean scissors or a knife.

  7. Fold the tortilla into thirds forming a triangle. Brush the surface of one of the thirds with egg wash, and fold the other third over so it forms a triangle. Press it down gently so it seals with the egg wash.

  8. Take each triangle and stuff with a tablespoon full of sweet potatoes or kheema or anything else you’d like.

  9. Optional: Brush the bottom ends of the triangle with egg wash and seal together. Note: it’s hard to do this but you can try! I find it easier to leave the bottom ends open.

  10. Take another brush and brush the surface of the samosa with coconut oil/ghee/olive oil.

  11. Lay on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

  12. Bake for 15-20 minutes (flipping over half way) until crispy and golden brown.

  13. Top with my Creamy Cilantro Chutney or sugar free ketchup!

  14. Serve immediately and enjoy!
